What is Unrestricted Pension Fund?
This is a Defined Contribution arrangement. The Fund’s eligibility requirement - accepts membership from any member of an approved fund in Malawi. Such members may be attracted as a result of better declared bonus or service. The Pension Act 2010 defined “Restricted Fund” as a Pension Fund which restricts membership of the fund to officers and employees of a specified employer and its bodies corporate.
How does it work?
Most of the pension funds we administer are Restricted Funds.
- The product uses our Guaranteed Fund investment vehicle.
- Administration fee will be set depending of the volumes and movements.
- The Board of Trustees shall be corporate – Old Mutual Pension Services Company.
